Malegaon depot received approval of 35 such e-buses last six months ago. Residents of Malegaon are waiting to travel by them. These buses are not on road now because they don’t have charging stations still now. So, the government is trying to make new charging stations for these buses. After that when charging stations will build, these e-buses will run on the road of Malegaon depot and people will take advantages of this.

 E-buses stop stations,

Buses from Malegaon depot will travel to cities such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Pune, Mumbai, Solapur, Kolhapur, Bhiwandi, Akkalkot and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. However, only a few buses are in good condition. The older and less maintained buses are used for commuter transportation within a range of 200 to 300 kilometers to cities like Dhule, Shirpur, Jalgaon, and Nashik.

Many buses of MSRTC are in a bad state due to lack of maintenance. This causes inconvenience to the passengers, as well frustration for drivers and conductors. So, government decided to preserve our environment and by taking too many complains of people through social media decided to start e-buses that will preserve our environment.

The Central Government issued to grant 123 environmentally friendly electric buses. A letter confirming the approval of 35 buses for Malegaon depot has been received in June. However, the absence of charging stations at depot is causing delays in the deployment of these buses. This raises the question of how much longer the residents of Malegaon will have to wait for these buses to become available.
