ASIAN GAMES 2023: DAY 1 UPDATE
The day 1 of Asian games 2023 is lucky for India. the Asian games live says that India won medals in shooting and rowing. there are total 5 medals till now. Three of those medals came from rowers and air rifle shooters brought two more.in the lightweight men’s double sculls event, the Indian pair Arjun Lal Jat and Arvind Singh, bagged silver medal for India. Ramit Jindal, part of the rifle team, won a bronze medal in the individual event.
ABOUT ASIAN GAMES THIS YEAR
Asian Games 2023 is taking place Hangzhou, the People’s Republic of China, from September 23 to October 8. The participation in Asian games is done by 45 members affiliated to the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). Asian games are the second largest multi-sport event after the olympics. It is to be noted that first asian games was held by india in 1951.
