Amitabh Bachchan is the son of Hindi poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, who married Shyama and Teji Bachchan. Amitabh’s wife is actress Jaya Bachchan. Their children are Shweta Bachchan Nanda and actor Abhishek Bachchan. Shweta is married to Nikhil Nanda, the son of Ritu Nanda and grandson of actor Raj Kapoor. In a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, share that his family is like ‘mini India’ and he loves it just as is. He was speaking to a contestant on the game show when he discussed that many members of his family come from different parts of the country which makes his family quite diverse. Amitabh Bachchan exclaims his family ‘a mini India’.
Amitabh said, “My daughter married someone in Punjab and my son in the south. We have people from all across the country, it’s like a mini India and we love it.” His daughter Shweta Bachchan marry with Nikhil Nanda, grandson of Raj Kapoor. His son Abhishek Bachchan is marry to Aishwarya Rai.

Further with his mini India sentiment, Amitabh Bachchan recently announced his collaboration with Rajinikanth in their upcoming film. He took to his blog and called the actor an “extraordinary human.” He wrote, “A new project has started today , the one with Rajinikant ji .. and getting together on a professional platform, has been coming in years .. Rajinikant .. ! what can one say about this extraordinary human .. his most down to earth living and nature.
