There are rumors circulating that Agastya approached to portray the iconic character of Laxman in Nitesh Tiwari’s highly-anticipated film “Ramayan.” The movie is to feature Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and possibly Yash as Ravan.

However, Agastya Nanda has turned done the offer as he does not want to play second fiddle to Ranbir Kapoor. According to reports, a source close to him said, “Agastya’s hands are full. He has just completed The Archies with Zoya Akhtar and will be deep-diving into Ekkis with Sriram Raghavan. At this stage of his career, he can hardly afford to play second fiddle to another actor.”
